The auto enthusiasts with the desire to do something different strike with unique creations every now and then. Last week it was a Lamborghini fan from China who built a Lamborghini for himself and now here is another passionate motorist from Armenia, Matevossian, who built Maserati supercar at home.
Matevossian started his project in 1985 and finished it in 2007. The making of his home made Maserati was marked with herculean efforts and shows great patience and perspicuity that this man completed this work with. In the process, he changed his design several times to give his car a sporty look.
Matevossian used engine, gearbox and rear suspension from a real 1984 Maserati BiTurbo V6 2l, 200hp to power his car. The DIYer also features a 5 speed manual transmission, Weber carburetor, control unit for the turbines, altered WHA front suspension and steering wheel of a Toyota with a booster.
Matevossian surely be a delighted man after coming up with such a spectacular creation but unfortunately he is under the legal bondage that prohibits him driving his home made Maserati beyond Armenian boundaries.
