The MDX 2010 is renewed, the adoption of new Acura "Power Plenum" grille that debuted in the 2009 model year sedan. The most important improvements for the 2010 model is a new 3.7-liter engine and a new 6-speed automatic transmission SportShift.

An Advance package is now available, including adaptive cruise control, Active Damper Suspension, 19 inch wheels and tires, ventilated seats and paddle shifters. The navigation-equipped models are now MDX rear view camera monitor in the rearview mirror.

After two years of development, the first model of the coupé to be released was the Cayman S (type 987.120). Photographs and technical details were released in May 2005, but the public unveiling did not take place until the September Frankfurt Motor Show. The S suffix (an acronym for Sport or Special) indicated that this was a higher performance version of a then unreleased normal model. That model, the Cayman (987.110), went on sale in July 2006. A motorsport-tuned model, the Cayman RS, is rumored to have been tested at the Nürburgring that same year

Porsche also announced the production of limited Cayman S Sport, to be available on October 2008 as a 2009 model.It features a freer-flowing exhaust, which raises power from 295 hp at 6250 rpm to 303 hp at an identical 6250 rpm. The Cayman S Sport comes in Bright Orange and Signal Green (from the Porsche 911 GT3 RS), as well as Carrera White, Speed Yellow, Guards Red, Black and Arctic Silver. The Cayman S has striping on the sides, black 19-inch wheels, as well as an Alcantara steering wheel directly from the 911 GT3 RS. The instrumentation loses its hood. The body is lowered by 0.4 inches, and the performance exhaust system is louder. 700 are to be made for worldwide market, with 100 for the U.S. and Canada. It will cost $69,900 USD.

To produce the R8, seventy workers fit 5,000 unique parts by hand. The factory produces 15 cars a day. It has also been credited as the only car in the world to undergo a CT Scan.[citation needed] Ninety-five lasers inspect the entire car in five seconds to ensure that over 220 measurements are within 0.1 mm of the programmed plans. The 2-seat coupé is currently available in Europe, the United States, Canada and Japan. Rumours hold that an open-top roadster model like the Porsche Carrera GT will follow in 2009

The car also had NISMO-tuned independent multi-link suspension, Brembo brakes with four-piston front and two-piston rear calipers (with 12.8-inch (330 mm) front and 12.7-inch (320 mm) rear rotors) and NISMO-branded gunmetal grey RAYS alloy wheels (18x9-inch front and 19x10-inch rear with 245/40WR18 front, 265/35WR19 rear Bridgestone Potenza RE050A tires), and NISMO-branded tuned exhaust. All Nismo versions are "Ready For Track" with the safety equipment in it.
