You might have seen Boeings in a disorderly state that are nothing more than the heaps of junk. But if you dream stylish sea travel and daring enough to face the fiery death, Hydro Lance Corporation has a solution. They convert the inventories of grounded commercial jet airplanes into ocean-going high speed passenger boats. However, keeping in mind the high cost of $1 million for the purchase of each aircraft, you surely need deep pockets.

The corporation reuses the fuselage, controls, and engines from a run-of-the-mill jet airliner and attaches massive Hydro Lance pontoons to either side. This is how the convert the birds of the sky to the fish of the sea. As the company is to start with a stretch Boeing 727, there will be a seating capacity for at least 150 passengers that could be further increased to 700 with incremental capital with this Boatplane cruising at over 120 mph.

The other features include extended reach of ferry routes, uninterrupted schedules of typical weather and sea states. Also, the boatplane can be made to run on alternate green fuels such as vegetable oil, carbide and hydrogen fuel cells. So its all about fancy and speed with the desire to something different.
