The vehicles we drive don’t come to us straightway but after a long journey of herculean efforts put by the designing team and the engineers who make it. Thereafter, vehicles go through various tests and put under severest conditions to check their ability to perform better in the real situations. Included here is a video put together by the Chevrolet Department 180 team showing how the 2010 Equinox received abuse of all kinds to ensure it held up to today’s toughest roads, weather, bumps, slams and stains. One of the most interesting tests was the water intrusion test, which showered the Equinox with monsoon-like rain. Watch one of the worst tests of all as one of the engineers takes everyday vehicle conditions to an extreme.
Thanks Heather.
